Experience Cornwall with a Meet the Maker tour at Polgoon Vineyard

Polgoon is a vineyard and orchard on the outskirts of Penzance, Cornwall. Producing a range of award-winning wines, ciders and juices, Polgoon also offers a cellar door and a range of vineyard tours. There’s no better way to experience the wonderful county than with a tour of a Cornish vineyard and to taste some Cornish wines. Polgoon are giving away two tickets for their Meet the Maker tour at Polgoon (worth £110) plus a gift voucher to purchase your favourite wines at the end of the day.

The Meet the Maker tour consists of a day at Polgoon spending time with the owners, Kim and John, learning about the origins of the vineyard and how they make their award-winning wines. Guests arrive at 11:30, at which point vineyard owner Kim will talk you through the story of Polgoon over coffee and croissants. You will then head to the wine tanks with John, the owner and winemaker. Whilst you are with John, you will be able to taste the new 2018 vintage straight from the tanks, before heading to the Vinehouse Kitchen for a lunch in the Vine House Kitchen.

At 2pm you will join a tour of the vineyard to learn about the varieties at Polgoon and how the team grow their grapes, before heading to the winery to learn about the process of making wine. Your day will then conclude by tasting five delicious wines.
