Ultimate Loaded Hot Dogs with 1912 Stilton®

With 1912 Stilton® we want to inspire you to think about blue Stilton® differently this summer and beyond the cheeseboard. Celebrate hotdog season with this cheesy Stilton take on the summertime classic - it's guaranteed to bring the sunshine to your tastebuds, whatever the weather. Stilton so savoury it will leave you coming back for more!

  • 5 hot dogs
  • 5 soft long bread rolls
  • 6 rashers of bacon
  • 2 white onion cut into half moons/sliced
  • 2 tbsps of veg oil
  • 4 tbsps of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsps of dijon mustard
  • 100g stilton, crumbled
  • Handful chopped parsley

Grill or fry the bacon until all the fat has been cooked out and the bacon is a deep golden brown. Once cooked put onto kitchen paper and let it cool. Once cool pop into a blender or Nutri bullet and blitz to make chopped bacon bits.

In a frying pan add the veg oil and cook the onions fairly slowly until soft. Mix the mayonnaise and mustard together and set aside.

In a deep pan heat some water for the hotdogs and throw them in and cook to the packet instructions.

Cut the bread rolls add the hotdogs and load them up!

Add bacon bits, mustard mayo, fried onions, crumbled stilton and chopped parsley and enjoy!
