Leeks with Chestnuts & Streaky Bacon

Serves 4
Ingredients
50g unsalted butter
100g smoked streaky bacon lardons
200g chestnuts, roughly chopped
400g leeks, sliced
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Add the butter and bacon lardons to a hot medium-sized frying pan and cook for 5 minutes until the lardons begin to colour.
Add the chestnuts and leeks then cook for a further 5 minutes. Season and serve immediately.
