Henry was born into the Aspall cyder and vinegar dynasty. He and his brother Barry came into the family business in 1993. They revamped the Aspall brand and took the branded vinegar range into supermarket retail in the mid ‘90’s, complementing extended listings within independent retailers. Aspall Vinegar has since grown to become the country’s number one premium vinegar brand.
In 1999 they relaunched the Aspall cyder brand, taking it from a small local focus to national and international renown, and making it the UK’s number one premium cyder brand by the time the business was sold to Molson Coors in 2018.
Henry now runs a small vinegar based shrub syrup start up called Nonsuch, as well as having other drinks and sustainability related interests.
