New Look Awards Badges for 2023

​This year, we’ve given our awards badges and judging process a refresh. The entry process remains the same so there’s no need to worry if you’ve already entered. It’s just the way we’re awarding our entrants has been updated so that the different levels of accolades on offer now includes: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum awards. Read on to find out more about each prize.

Bronze badges

Bronze will be awarded by our expert team of in-house judges to the products which offer delicious flavour.

Silver badges

These badges will be awarded by our judging panel - comprising of celeb chefs, Michelin-starred restaurateurs, food critics, influencers, buyers and food writers - to the products which offer a stand-out foodie experience.

Gold badges

Gold badges will be awarded by our esteemed panel of expert judges to the very best three products they have chosen in each category.

Platinum badges

These will be given to the products which have been awarded the highest accolade at the Great British Food Awards twice within the past four years.
