Crumpets with PDO Feta

This is a classic British breakfast, best served with jam made from seasonal fruit. When you introduce feta PDO into your daily diet, you enrich it with calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A, B-complex vitamins, and 489 different types of protein.   • 28g fresh yeast
  • 5g sugar
  • 240ml warm milk
  • 260g plain flour
  • 5g salt
  • 2g baking powder
  • 240ml warm water
  • 50g Feta PDO

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm milk.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the salt, then slowly add the milk with the yeast and sugar and stir.

Next, dissolve the baking powder in the water and add it to the mixture; add the grated feta, cover the bowl and leave to rest in a warm place for 1 hour.

When you're ready to cook, pour the mixture into baking frames and fry in a buttered pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then turn over and cook for 1 more minute. Enjoy!
