From craft beer with a conscience to barbecue-your-own lobster experiences, these are our favourite gourmet Father’s Day gifts

Is your dad a foodie? Perhaps he’s a big craft beer lover? Working on the rationale that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, we’ve hand-selected our favourite Father’s Day gifts. They’re all created by British artisan food and drink brands, ensuring you’re buying local and ethically sourced products while celebrating dad.

If you’re looking for a unique Father’s Day gift, something he may not have tried before, then we highly recommend splashing out on an Afrosposure Deluxe Discovery Box. Afrosposure is an organisation dedicated to championing and increasing diversity in the food and drink space. It does so through providing exposure to the fantastic food and drink products developed by black and other ethnic minority artisans.

The Afrosposure Deluxe Discovery Box is crammed full of these delicious goodies. It contains everything from Ilé Adùn’s Coconut Toffee (our personal favourite) to Jungle Abakus Foods’, Seaweed Crisps and Chosan By Nature’s Baobab Chocolate Spread. The word ‘Chosan’ means ‘cultural heritage’ in the Wolof language spoken in The Gambia (the birthplace of the founder).

Brew Some Good

Beer, as the UK’s most popular drink, was bound to feature on this Father’s Day gift guide. We are loving the brews from new craft beer brand People’s Captain founded by rugby player Greg Bateman. Greg decided that he wanted his new beer brand to have an impact, so is on a mission to raise £1 million for positive mental health through a percentage of beer sales.

The People’s Captain mixed crate is available in 12 or 24 cans, and contains all four of the brand’s beers including Legend APA, Islander NEPA, Stereotype Lager and Short & Stout Milk Stout. We’re particular fans of the latter!
